Tinting input needed

Matt that's what I wanna do too. I would like to get 10-15% on the front, back, and rear windows of my truck w/ a 35% WS & 5% eyebrow.

I wear polarized sunglasses while I drive, hell I were them anytime its light outside except for in buildings :lol: I got bad coon eyes. ANYWAYS will I see the "rainbow" effect with a tinted windshield because of my glasses?

^^^ you wont have rainbow effect if you get good tint. i have lumar on my windows now and i only buy polarized oakleys and i have no problems now. just dont get polarized tint haha

Yep get good tint and you'll be fine. Don't get that colored (silvery) reflective crap.

yeah I hate the crap! I will get it done at the local shop here that does all our work trucks we give him a ton of business so hopefully he'll cut me a deal :fingersx:

wow.. looks like I've missed a lot since my last post! Glad to see that you are going with the 35%... You won't regret it.. well.. unless you get a ticket then you might! but it cost me for 35% windshield, 5% on front, and 5% over factory on rear.. plus removing 20% on fronts.. it was $250.. cash

My polarized Oakley's don't bother me when I drive either!

Thanks, Darren, but it's only because I have ptm bumpers. :D

The interior is only one scrapyard away! Try to find "totaled" F150s and see if you can snag up interior pieces a few at a time. There's an '07/'08 Harley down the road from me with a screwed up front end, but his grille is completely in tact. I've contemplated dropping by and asking if I can swap it out.

The interior is only one scrapyard away! Try to find "totaled" F150s and see if you can snag up interior pieces a few at a time. Definitely go for it. Once I get some sidecash i'll go up to the Ford salvage yard and see if I can swap interiors with a black leather interior. The center shift console will be the toughest part.

Pick me up a set as well! I really need to get rid of the suede in mine!
