15% is all i`m comfortable with on my sides, and i understand it doesn`t do much in direct sunlight, but at night i can`t see much...

but anyways you should not have a problem sticking your gps to it, unless it an actuall sticker instead of a suction cup, not sure if the glue would react.:dunno:

I just matched the front windows the factory tint and it's good enough for me. Hell 50% on the front two is what is legal here so I'm well past that.

Regardless of the legal or illegal nature, I would not tint the whole thing just because it's going to have a huge negative effect on being able to see at night. I know some have it done and claim it's no big deal... but I call BS on that. Drive around for a night or two with some good dark sunglasses on and you'll be throwing rocks at the tinted windshield idea.

I 100% agree. Hell it's hard enough to see with the back window tinted. You end up looking at the radio screen and the glare from the gauges when you're backing up.

I've had a tinted windshield before. It was 35% and even though it was cool looking, it made the car a pain in the ass to drive at night. Just saying...

Good luck on whatever choice you make.

thanks for your input fellas. i find it easy to see out of my side windows but not the rear ones since they are much darker. think i should be good as long as i keep it around 40 plus the eyebrow.

still keep the comments and experiences coming.

I've got 35% on windshield with 5% on sides and what equaled to be 8% on rear
Be prepared, because it is dark.. and it will take you some time to get used to it. I also have a sunroof non-tinted so when cops come by i throw that open and it helps a lot. Well, here's some pictures. a lot of pics, but will give you a good idea of what your going to be getting.

... and it was real dark living out in the country.. but extra set of lights helped! but now that I'm in Indy, lots of street lights so its not bad at all. Just make sure that you have good eyesight. I don't like to drive without my contacts in at night with the tint.

Oh I forgot to add, have the 5" brow done too, will definitely work well. If there is a 40% like tint that doesn't fully censor out the top of the dash, and allows a little of the driver and seat to be shown in direct light you'll be good. At night the tinted windshield will certainly be good for oncoming headlamp glare too. Thats the biggest reason I want the windshield done. I hate the un-aimed HID glare and bright lights coming up hills, people following me with their lights in my mirror dont affect me at all with the 20%.

I wanna go a tad bit darker like 15% if they make it.

They do

It does look real good, but it also looks very obviously tinted. Good call with the sunroof though, lucky!

And that was an extremely cloudy day, and some rain... On sunny days its a little less noticeable

Yeah, the sunroof is a good thing if you have one! but the windshield is soo nice once it is done! Helps a lot for the blinding glares of snow, sun... bad aimed headlights.. And Knock on Wood, but no troubles yet! I even had a cop ride with me after it was done, and he didn't notice it, or just didn't want to say anything.

It's def not for everyone, but it really does have it's benefits! You may try the 50% or 40% if they make it, with 5% eyebrow.. I've heard that makes it look stock.

im gonna see what 50 looks like and then see if i can make 40 with a 5% eyebrow

Yep, no problem! I'm sure someone around here has some pics of 50%.. or i assume with 40% you would have to mix two different right? Do they make 40%?
