I don't know how you get away with that in Texas. Here, they would ticket me daily.

They must be nicer in College Station!

yea they havent bothered me for my tails or my lack of a front plate so far so hopefully it goes just the same :fingersx:

Woooo! Same question, why the tape? And I hope you don't get pulled because some of us influenced you. Looks great, though. :fingersx:

Perry, technically no one can tint their windshield. It's illegal everywhere. Some of us are just lucky and happen to live on or near college campuses, where they could give a rat's ass.

New windshield... They tape it down so the glue can still set.

Yeah, I know tinting the windshield is illegal everywhere... But I'd at least like to tint the front windows...

It gets hot inside in the front seats

A/C doesn't help when the sun is shining directly on you

Gotcha. I forgot he was getting a new windshield. Go for the tint......you have my permission to blame it on me if you get pulled for it. I won't pay for any tickets, but you are welcome to blame it on me. :D

I will be glad to blame it on you if i get in trouble, just wait haha. might happen over the summer at my intership in houston

50% would be less noticeable, especially with the 5% brow. It would be enough to add a slight bit of tint and get rid of the green hue on the windshield.

Still gonna try and blame it on ya even though its not gonna fix anything either way haha
Bring it on!

The only downside is, even though it's not cracked or anything... My windshield is pitted enough that it needs replacing before I can tint it

yea i hate the pollen and i cant wash the truck for a while also

well here she is. this is the new windshield and tint but still no eyebrow yet

Ya I'm saying screw it and washing and waxing today. Tried just hosing it off the other day and left water spots.:fume: I'm not waiting the 2 weeks or whatever crap they say on the weather as to when the pollen stops raining from the sky.

Looks good. The LEOs here seem pretty lenient on the whole tinting thing too. As I said the p.o. had 5% on 4 and 35% on the WS. He got pulled over for speeding a few times and cops never said a word to him.:dunno:

Since he had a new windshield put in before purchase my windshield is all that is legal for tint.
