GM never fixed the oiling issue in the LS2...they just discontinued it instead for a better engine. I don't see Ford doing anything about it except maybe start voiding warranties.

Kinda sucks for those guys that actually thought they bought a real world bad ass baja truck from the factory.

In my experience Ford has had weak frames since the late 80s ( on F150s) from the rear axles front spring perches back....Ive seen lots with hairline( or worse) cracks right above the rear axles, especially if eqipped with air ride "helper" bags, even on DEALER lots....Its the first thing I check for on used trucks.

there is no way you get a no holds barred Baja truck from any damn factory and people are idiots for thinking this..

it is like a diesel truck guy buying a pickup and hauling with it like they have a OTR tractor. shit don't make sense.

Oh well, ditch the Raptor and go back to building SVT street trucks rather then wanna be Baja trucks...

I still think its an awesome truck. If I ever do get one I'll know what to reenforce. Sucks but thats how car companies make things better. Every company has had its share of problems. I'm sure that with all the exposure its getting Ford will come up with a solution.
