That SHO doe looks darker than 30 on the sides. Don't do 50% on the WS you won't be happy buddy of mine did it to his and it looked almost identical to my stock one :dunce:

Exactly why. I've tinted a truck with 50% up front and the dude didn't wanna pay me for what looks like nothing different than stock untinted glass. I told him so, but he got what he wanted.

That new Sho looks great, but it does look a bit darker, plus the glass is alot smaller than truck glass.

30 on the front two then 14 on the back i meant.

and im gonna have to see it in person before i make the final decision but im leaning to around 35-40 what ever is easiest

^^^ got any pics of how it looks better than your sig pic? im trying to keep it seem like its not with the brow to keep even more heat off me. (tails and no front plate so far and no rear cats coming up soon)

Yessir!!

BUT my back 3 windows are 5% over the factory 20% measuring at about 1% and my roll downs are 15% over 15% measuring at around 2-3%.

SOLD.

35% with 5% brow plus im thinking another layer of 30% all around the back should do it. so id be at 35% windshield and then around 25%+30% front two and then 5%+30% back three. might have to do it in stages though since it was 150 to do the everything on there now :(

Looks fantastic Kyle! Very nice. '97 - '03 F150s windshield is only a little bigger so that should be about the same. Damn you got some dark front glass!

Not to be too nosy Jake but let me know the price to get it done, I wanna do it but I dont have a role of film large enough to tackle this myself, especially the 04+ windshield size.

will do. a guy in cs was gonna do a 7-8" brow plus front two windows for 100 so idk what the whole things gonna cost under the table. i know brows are usually 20 bucks so hope to deal.

Yeah, sounds like a fair price for the doors. Windshields have usually been $100 - $150. I'm going to guess in that range.

50%? Look at your windshield right now and thats it . Wont help at all, if you had it done twice or three times, thats a thought, but what a labor intensive job.
x2. 50% will be good if you just want it for looks. It will get rid of that crappy green hue.

35% is the lowest I'd go. I got mine done @ 35% and couldn't tell that big of a difference driving home that same day, but then again my vision is excellent. :dunno:

The rear is always harder to see out of than the front when it's tinted because it's tinted from the factory.....but I do hate having to back up at night. Going forward is not an issue at all.

I'm running 35% on the windshield with a 5% brow, 15% on front sides, stock rear sides (18%), and 5% over the rear windows. It's perfect for me on each part except the rears. Here are a few pics....the ones looking out from inside the truck are when I had 5% over the 15% on both front and rear side windows. Pulled that off, though, because that was way too much, although the privacy was nice. I could pick my nose next to a cop and he'd never know. I'd say go 35% if cops are lax in your area----I am very lucky because I live in SC, which is lenient with everything. Plus living on a college campus is a bonus. They could care less. It is nice, though, being able to stare directly at the sun in the mornings.

It was worth it for me....completely changes the look. Was $100 for the windshield and $15 for the brow.

Looking out on a semi-overcast day (when I also had 5% over sides):
