Where do YOU park?

Yeah, something like that... Let's see... I bought it, the ex-wife took it when we split, then I got it back, then sold it, re-bought it, and then (FINALLY) traded it off.. I thought I never was going to get rid of that thing "for good."

She(the car)must've liked you alot and just couldn't go another mile without you in the driver's seat.... y'know I've heard animals can find their way back even hundreds of miles from home,can cars do the same? hmmmmmmmmmm?

hahaha! Maybe so... I guess the dealer must've introduced her to someone new that she just couldn't take her eyes off of, though. Fortunately, I haven't seen her since that fateful day in May.....

Where do you park your pride and joy?

I park mine in the most remote corner of the most uninhabited portion of a parking lot and hike.

I always park out in BFE, and try to leave a couple spot on either side of me. But I am constantly amazed how often I do this and then come out to find some piece of shit parked right next to me. It pisses me off to no end.

Yeah, I've had that happen a good bit, too. It's like they want to show you you can't get away from them.

I tend to look for end spots (next to a curb), whether close or not. Like others have said, get close to the curb and then only one side is exposed. It seems like I'm less likely to come out and find some beat-up POS parked next to me, if I stay closer to the rest of the pack, though.

I also pay attention to where the shopping carts are gathered, the slope of the parking lot, etc. I park uphill from those things and any other stray carts, too. If it looks risky (i.e. they haven't sent anyone out to round up the carts in a while and there seem to be more carts than cars), I've been known to go find another place to buy whatever I was looking for.

My wife is even more eccentric than I am about parking. She'll pass on a store if there isn't a suitable "away" spot. She hates door dings as much as I do. We have passed on restaurants on many occasions because of a crowded parking lot. Life is too short to let some bozo whack my perfect truck with his door.

Man if I could get my wife to feel the same way. Her Jeep Liberty has like 20 door dings that I've touched up. Fortunately they are all on the door guard molding strips.

Myself, I park and walk. Always looking for the best spot to avoid a door ding. It ills the hell out of me when I see idiots that don't give a rats ass about someone else vehicle.

I have found that if I park next to the cart corral I am less likely to get hit by a cart, most people who return a cart wont hit your car with one

depends if i`m in a hurry or not, usually hike it from the far side of any lot, but for a quick snatch and grab..... i mean in and out.... er well to purchase one item or be quick, i`ll park up front....
