Where do you park your pride and joy?

I park mine in the most remote corner of the most uninhabited portion of a parking lot and hike. I'd probably kill a fool over a parking lot ding. It always amazes me to see dumbasses in brand new high dollar vehicles circling the lot waiting for a spot up front... only to wedge in where they are SURE to get slammed into by the "close parker's" door next to them...

Why are people so lazy?

I try not to park next to anyone. If a place isn't busy, and I'll only be there for a few minutes, I'll take up two spots :D

..And then walk miles within the store.

I dont get it either.

My truck is getting dinged up by inconsiderate bastard, it don't matter any more. For instance, Two weeks ago when I was vacationing in Florida. The place we stayed at was gated, so just not anyone can get in. I still parked the truck way out the way, away from everybody. What do you know when we left, some POS dinged the driver side door right on the bottom corner.

I laugh at the "Parking Lot Vultures", especially at the gym. I kid you not, I once saw a guy follow a person to his car and sit there and wait for him to leave to get his spot. It was a nice summer day and there were plenty of spaces available further out. Then, and this is the funny part, I saw him WALKING ON A TREADMILL 10 minutes later in the gym!!! :loser: :lol::lol:

I park away from other people unless I see a really expensive car, then I park right next to them and door ding the shit out of 'em. :jester:

Way out in bumblef*ck, next to a median if possible. That way, I can squeeze up as close as possible, increasing the space between me and the next spot over, AND there's only one side that someone could park on.

Why am I so protective of my truck, that has plenty of scratches, a couple small dings, and LineX on the rocker panels (which virtually eliminates the possibility of a door ding from any vehicle other than Bigfoot)? I have no idea, I guess I'm just paranoid.

I park way the hell out and walk in. I try to get next to a median or barrier of some kind....so at least one side is protected.

My wife is one of those who follow people around waiting for a space up close when, in the same amount of time, I could've parked and have been inside already. :wtf:

My wife is even more eccentric than I am about parking. She'll pass on a store if there isn't a suitable "away" spot. She hates door dings as much as I do. We have passed on restaurants on many occasions because of a crowded parking lot. Life is too short to let some bozo whack my perfect truck with his door.
