Picked her up from the dealer (again) for lifter replacement. Definitely runs better, now that it isn't leaking oil from the cover!

Took the Caddy to Discount Tire and had the wheels balanced... then took it to the Cadillac dealer and had the oil changed.

Took out the sandbags earlier this week (140lbs) and re-adjusted the TB butterfly. Seems to be working better now. It wasn't sticking before, but I was having the idle issues after removing the butterfly to cut off the diffuser lip. Now it seems to be idling much better. All I can think is that it must have been just a hair off or something, but I thought it would have centered itself when I put it back in (left the two screws that hold it in place loose and let is slap close a few times before tightening them).

Filled it up and added SeaFoam for the 2nd tank in a row. Got 17.26mpg which is an improvement, but that could be due to our much warmer than average temperature, the reduction in weight, or the improved idle. I'm leaning towards mostly warmer weather and better idle.

Still want/need to replace the fuel filter, but I'm always afraid I'm going to break the fuel lines. :ohnoes:

Drove it and filled it up with gas, cleaned the headlights, tail lights and mirrors of road grime...
