Got pulled over in it, and got a ticket. :uhoh:

Details?

Cop said I ran a red light. I was in a left turn lane, light turned green and traffic started moving. I followed the traffic. I was distracted, and was mainly paying attenion to the cars in front of me. I honestly can't recall if the light turned red as I was going thru it. :dunno: My kids were whining and fighting and distracted the fWONk out of me.

Ouch... That's gonna cost you more than just the fine. It's a moving violation so it's points on your license, and maybe an insurance bump down the road. I'm sorta with John on this one. I'd sit the kids down and have a serious talk with them, explaining that their distracting you like that is just as serious as something like texting and driving (if they're old enough to understand that) and then tell 'em it's coming out of their allowance and that they'll have some extra chores to do.

Drove it to work. Washed it. Gonna go meet up with a co-worker that beat cancer in a little bit.

Listed a couple extra parts for the Z71 on CraigsList. Hopefully the sell!

EDIT: Found a 14bsf for it, but it's from an '88....should fit just fine though.

Needless to say, for $90 the guy had several call on the axle and sold it in 2 days. :(

There's another guy 30min from me that will trade me a 3.42 14bsf 6-lug open diff (with supposedly just over 100k out of an '88) for my 10 bolt 3.42 open diff plus $200. I thought $350 was a little steep for an axle, but searching car-parts.com, that's about the going rate for one that has <200k miles on it.

What do you guys think?

Why are you wanting to swap out the 10b?
