I like Saturn cars I wouldn't mind one for the gas mileage. I want my older brother to buy a Saturn Sky im thinking there going to be worth some mula in years to come. I had a 84 626 which in 1985 it was called the MX6 or the two doors cars were well I loved the car the thing would give me super gas mileage I once let my buddy take it on a trip well he called me at work and said say Rolie does the gas gauge work it hasn't moved I said it sure does well he got back and was amazed with how good it was on gas. Good luck on your Saturn if your ever looking for a part there is ton's of junk yards over here in Houston PM me I will see what I can do.

Finally got around to cleaning up all the threads on the calipers and brackets since they had rust and powder in them. Nothing like nice clean threads for nice easy screw on.

First thing I did was preparing the piston bores on all four calipers for the new pistons, seal. They were carefully inspected and cleaned out with some steel wool.

I used three different taps for the front and rear calipers and brackets.

All kinds of nasty, rusty goodness in these threads

Nice clean threads, yes the slightest things please me... lol

One front totally rebuilt with all new parts including, piston, rebuild kit, caliper bolt boots, brake pad install kit, bleeder screws.

Fronts all done w/ Harley Black Pearl Powdercoat (same as front sway bar and rear AMR strut bar)

Now I just need a crash test dummy to test out the brake once installed, who knows if I assembled them right. :dunno:

Dan?

AMR front and rear strut bars - Both bought in T6061 raw finishes to powdercoat in my own colors:
Front in Super Durable Gloss White, Rear Harley Black Pearl (matching other parts on the car) The rear bar had a nameplate tacked on to accept their sticker which I removed as it served no real purpose and looked cleaner without. The one on the front I left because looked cool and it seemed to tie both bars together visually.

The rear calipers are more difficult and have more moving parts, I'll tackle those next.
