Take a Dremel with a thin cutoff blade and go right down the middle and notch the plastic, and also the top portion of the screw, just deep enough to create a notch in which you can fit a small flat head screwdriver. Screw it out. I've done this many times. It works well and leaves plenty of hole left over to reuse.

I'm going to remember that. Nice idea!

If you ever have to cut a lot of the plastic and you're worried about structural integrity on reuse, just whip up a little epoxy and fill it up and then drill it out when dry.

Tried that several times, the way it was recessed you couldn't get it with out fugging up all the plastic. Did some loctite epoxy and all is good now

Went out and aligned the lights yesterday, gotta do it again. The solenoids were wired backwards (that's at least what I think) the lights were constantly on bright and then when the light was taken off of bright they cut out....gotta figure out how to wire them the right way. The leads had no markings on them, so I had no way to see how they were working.

Sink the shrouds a little deeper on the projectors and I'll be good to go

That was the one step that would be tough for anyone that's never installed HIDs. Had I not previously installed plug-n-play HID kits (twice), I would have been confused wiring that stuff up. Luckily there aren't a lot of connections required.

I understood the wiring just fine, it was the wiring on the solenoids themselves that I wasn't too straight on

Well mounted the shrouds last night. I'll check on them when I get home from class. Then most likely will seal the headlights up tonight. Maybe tomorrow. I'll have them on the truck very soon

I've got to resolve this wiring problem. I've done all of their troubleshooting techniques and the brights and lows are still reversed. I've been emailing them back and forth. He said he may need to send me a new harness. But in the mean time I can get them sealed up
