Darn. Might be dangerous if you're not careful, but I would think the proper way would be to drill out the old screws. Use a bit just big enough to drill the screws out but small enough to leave some material in the tapped part.

Then use some screws that are sized properly that will essentially re-tap the threads. That would give you a secure connection.

A few things have to go right if you do it that way, though....

I've tried that and the biggest problem is the drill bit is walking like crazy I did a center punch but it was so much force I thought I was gonna crack the lense :ohnoes:

Gotta figure something out

So test fitting the heads today. What do y'all think, should I paint the shrouds or leave them chrome? The hood is not shut so ignore the hood line above the lights

I think your truck looks bad ass. Like it wants to run over someone.

I vote chrome. Just enough to be tasteful. Personally I think it would look weird to have so much black in the headlight if you painted them.

Awesome job, dude! Almost there!

Oh, and you're gonna freak at the difference in night driving.

Ok I'm feeling the same way guys. Especially with the chrome reflector in the turn signal bowl.

I like to have black, DSG, & a little chrome to add a little pop

I think the chrome complements most of the truck IMO

Appereciate that man. I've always wanted to Mod out a truck to be tasteful yet be a BAMF at the same time :D

I'm getting there, truck is getting close to complete honestly. Just little things from here on out
