Man, I hear you. It's frickin HOT here too. It's been raining a lot. In the last 3 months we may have had 3 or 4 days with no rain. Then if it doesn't rain, it's just way to hot to do anything. No rain today, but it's in the high 90s and humidity isn't far behind. I just went to Walmart to get a few things it felt like I couldn't breathe, it's so hot. There was a car show, this morning, but with all of the rain, nether my Corvette or truck was ready for a car show. I cleaned the Vette up some, but it's just ot hot, to go anywhere. That's what I get for having a black on black Corvette. I was kind of wondering if you made a choice on alternators. I had the change the 1 on the Corvette yesterday, LOL and well I started Thursday, but couldn't finish installing it untill yesterday. I choose a Power master 150 amp. I am running electric fans, and with everything on, fans, AC, wipers, and headlights, it pulls perty hard on the charging system. The power master seem good for now. Time will tell. I did have to replace the belt, with one 1/2 shorter, so, I had to unbolt the valve cover, to get enough slack.Jumping into building the 496" motor ...
Torque plate is on and I'm just about really to hone out .005 to finish size ...

I couldn't live in that heat down south. It's bad enough here in NE Ohio. The humidity is insane.View attachment 9063
