IH 54 R-100 4X4

More parts for my motor should show up today ..
Chipping away at it, don't have all the needed parts here just yet ..
Some are very expensive and requires saving up for over a few months .
Could speed up the motor build greatly by low-balling my parts choice ..

Do believe I'm overkilling this a wee bit ??

I know what you mean about the lack of funds. I haven't worked since before Thanksgiving and will be off until the first week of February. I screwed myself up by letting a hernia go to long. The doc said my colon was in my nut sack.

I was wanting to have a badge on the tailgate ...
Thought about doing a chrome 4X4 since the truck is four wheel drive ..

Already have emblems on the hood that says four wheel drive from a 49 Jeep pickup truck, didn't feel the need for another 4X4 emblem ..



Recently was watching a Jay Leno video showcasing one of his rare cars from the early 50's and there was the badge that's perfect for the tailgate ...



The Binder does have a V-8 and overdrive ..

Nailed down one from eBay ..



It's a bit rough, but with some TLC will be able to having it looking almost as good as Leno's ..

The owner of the 496" motor is getting somewhat trick with his choice of parts ..



Pulleys made by 'March' are super nice ..

( If my truck wasn't going to see off-road action I'd be running a set of those Bad-Boys )

Speaking of where this Stroker motor will have a home in a 62 C-10 ..

He's making dang good progress ..



Back in 62 GM was using torsion bar suspension, he got rid of that and upgraded to coils and disc brakes ..



Going to have a very nice Street Rod with abundance of Giddyup Go !
