My arms will look like ...

Going with 100 grit stones to .002" of final size ... once I get there I'll change the stones to 280 grit and hone to .0005" of finish size ... That last .0005" will be honed out using 400 grit stones ..

Not done with honing the bores just yet .
Got the Plateau honing to do ..

Plateau honing is an advanced cylinder wall finishing process that creates a surface with smooth, flat "plateaus" on top for low-friction piston ring contact, while retaining deep "valleys" underneath for oil retention, improving engine sealing, reducing friction, shortening break-in, and increasing engine life by removing jagged peaks and torn metal from the initial bore. It's achieved using fine abrasive brushes or stones after coarse honing to level the peaks without eliminating the essential oil-holding troughs.

Work on the plug wires is ongoing ...
Installed a old set of valve covers I had laying around just for running it in the run stand .. Owner has a fancy set that he'll install once the motor is in his hands ..

Soon to have it ready to run ...
Down to small parts yet to get ..
Starter is one, I picked up a couple at a swap meet months ago ...
