The front fender shelf is the reason for the rear fender lights ..

Since the rear fender are smooth they don't flow well with the fronts ..
By adding the lights about in line with the shelf would net a better look overall ..

That's my thinking which could be way out in left field !

Fender lights should look good, IMO. Also, I like the Boobs on the front bumper, LOL.

Chrome powdercoat helped the looks ..
By the time the LED lights are installed might just cut the holes in the fenders and run them ..

The Boobs aka; Dagmars

I installed 57 Bel-Air custom solid aluminum "Pasties" ..

Polished, of course ..

I always thing about a 57 Chevy when I see Dagmars. I know that Cadillac use a lot of them, through the years, but I've never been a big Cadi fan. The pastie inserts look good. It sets off the look, and says customized, IMO. You do some great work. Thanks for sharing.

First car I bought was a 57 Bel-Air two door sports coupe .. Had it for 34 years .
Installed every factory option that was available in 57 but for the fuel injection, had the flags on the fenders ...

When I was a kid, working at a full service, utility trailer place, this guy came in and asked, does anybody want a 57 Chevy? I said how much, he said free, but I don't have any papers on it. This was around 1979. I said I will be there tomorrow to pick it up. I drive it home, put it in front of my Mom's house. It had a 283, with a power glider, and was a 4 door car. After several min of my Mom bitching about it, I sold it to a local junk yard, dealer, for $150. He used it for parts. He had a 57 he was working on. That's as close as I came to owning a 57. You had a very nice car, back in the day.
