Man, that’s some clean port work! Did you notice a big difference in how much material had to come out between the intake and exhaust ports?

Thanks ..

The 1.88" O.S. ex. valves required quite a bit of material to be removed ...
The exhaust valves seen some chamber work to unshroud them to allow more space around the valve for better airflow.
Didn't see the need to do the intake 2.19" O.S. valves, if they was larger the chamber wall would had been worked ..

Below photo shows another set of heads (781 casting) using 2.25" intakes .. Did remove some material from the chamber wall on them ..

Since I had the tools dug out to do this job, the thought was to build a mount for the air horns too .. Kill two birds with one Stone type thingy ..

An old beer keg makes a decent fuel tank. :D2
Capture RST.PNG

Back in the day IH offered a right side aux fuel tank .. It was a special order option .. Mirror image of the left side 16 ga tank which I have and restored ..
Also have a 30 ga bed tank that is switched using a GM saddle tank valve switch ..

With having 46 gallons onboard not much need for the factory optional aux tank, mostly wanted it so the NOS optional fuel level switch would work on three gas tanks ..

Been on the hunt for years with not having any luck finding the aux tank..
Could build or buy a tank ...
But wouldn't be the same as a og IH tank ..
