Oil pump pickup is installed, added two tack welds to keep it from falling out of the pump ...

Waiting on a baffle that keeps oil from climbing up the back of the pan under hard acceleration ..



Be here at the end of the week along with a few other items ...

Added a cam button, timing cover was installed .. Good progress ..
Must custom fit the rear baffle ..

The motor I'm building in the last few photos is not my motor, it's going into a 1962 C-10 ..



My motor that's also under construction will be built very close to how the C-10 496" is being built ..



Same stroke, little larger bore ..
... 500 cubes ...
Hadn't had the time to work on my stuff lately due to working on others motors ..

Also doing a Hot-Rod build on a 57 Harley Panhead motor is very time consuming ..
Will be 96 cubies when done ...



This is not the 57, it's a 51 that I spun together a few years ago ..
The 57 will look dang close to this ..

All Panhead motors look pretty much the same ..

This 35 year old motor should run like the Devil is after it ...

I've been in residential construction for over 45 years. It has beat the hell out of me.
