interesting, i`ve been running mine for over 2 weeks, and have only been flashed once, and it was in the daytime.

but i can tell alot of light escapes the important areas.
The F150 housings are designed different, though, which may be why. Even if you don't get flashed, though, that doesn't mean it isn't extremely bright for others. I often pass people with HID kits that are extremely bright, but I don't bother flashing because I know that they are low beams and it wouldn't do any good. By far the biggest difference I've noticed after taking them out is stopping at red lights. I used to blind every person I pulled behind that was in a vehicle smaller than mine. I'd often get the finger sitting at red lights if I didn't flip it to parking lights while stopped. With halogens I don't.
It's just gonna be trial and error as to whether or not this will work. I think it should be doable finding something to at least get rid of the top part of the excessive glare. If I can do that I'll consider it a success.
