Awesome.

I have been wanting a Jetta or Passat TDI because they are diesel and now this cruze offers a better looking alternative to a jetta tdi...

It will be interesting to see if it catches on and what the price difference will be (gas VS diesel). I think the only other car company making diesel cars is Volkswagen.

It will be interesting to see how may VW owners jump ship. I know the VW dealer here has a hard time keeping diesels in stock. Yes there are those out there that can't stand diesels, not to mention any names :quote:Zembonez:quote:, but there are those such as I that would like to see more form the big three.

I would love to buy a diesel. I hope it takes off and starts a trend.

I wish they would have carried the diesels over here for my wifes new car, but the US tends to be so anti-diesel a lot of manufactures offer good diesel options elsewhere.

That's a good point about jumping ship. Aren't parts expensive for VW's?
