Cross drilling rotors at home?

Can I cross drill my leather seats? My ass gets HOT!

Get a new truck with AC seats... the seats come PRE-DRILLED with the holes already in the leather ...

Those cross drilled seats also help degassing. This way you maintain maximum friction in the seat, especially while making emergency stops after a taco bell lunch.

Are the pads cross drilled?

No but they have a little blue light that stops you instead Of real pads. And If they smoke, it's just water vapor.

Instead of drilling holes in your rotors, you could cut a hole in the floor and she could put her foot down and take some the burden off the brakes while going down the hills ...


I suggest reebok pumps as the shoe of choice

I'm surprised no one mentioned slotting the rotors. They help with gas retention. Something doesn't have a problem with.

Another option would be to coat the rotors and pads in grease to reduce friction and subsequently, heat.

So, I am getting the impression this a is bad idea. I will just turn them and leave them be then. All this time I htought those holes erved more of a purpose.

Drilled rotors perform best on lighter vehicles had high speeds. A 6,000lb+ truck will not see a change because it shouldn't be up to those speeds anyways, unless it is built for it top to bottom.

I put slotted rotors on my truck because my front right caliper seized and chewed the rotor up, far past a resurfacing job. Braking performance is great, but it may have just been the brand new pads.

Aside of no braking performance gain, I have only heard that drilled rotors act more as a cheese grader for brake pads.
