Sorry that these didn't turn out so well---it's really sunny out so I tried to balance the lighting as much as I could while holding wire.

Just now went and marked the wire where I want to cut it. Have a little leftover so I'll give each measurement a few more inches. Going to edit these following pictures for the How-To, but it at least gives an idea of what I'll be doing.

Will actually be doing the Big 4, but I need to order two more ring terminals:
  • Battery (+) to Alternator
  • Battery (-) to Engine Ground
  • Battery (-) to Frame
  • Battery (-) to Chassis

Now, the last one isn't necessary but it sure as heck doesn't hurt and I have the extra wire for it. It essentially improves the ground connection between the frame and chassis.

Will be using my wire cup brush drill attachment to clean contact points.

The orange/black cable can be seen running between (+) and alternator. Thick (-) wire can also be seen running down and out of sight towards front of engine bay to frame:

Found it! (-) to frame comes over here to lowest bolt seen:

Yeah I'm hoping it helps a little. Ours is 110 amps.

I actually haven't had any problems with my stereo for a while, which is the main reason I'm trying this. If it doesn't help I'll end up going with an aftermarket battery and alternator.

Got it all done tonight minus the installation. Gonna save the in-between pics for the final how-to, but here's a taste:

Yessir. Did you ever get PS working or did you want me to try to burn it to a disc for you again? No trouble here. I just finished up a design presentation and exam today--I'm clear for a few days.

It should be done by tomorrow evening as long as I get off of work at a decent hour. Shouldn't take but 30 minutes to install it all. Actually working on the write-up now in a Word document so I don't have to deal with it tomorrow.
