Ever since my first car was broken into and rampaged years ago, I've had an alarm on every vehicle I've since owned. On my Cutlass I had a steering column lock (protective metal collar that locks around the steering column) in addition to my alarm. I've had my shock sensors adjusted to the point that the jolt from breaking a lug loose was enough to set off my alarm. It also helps that I have a dog in the yard now who barks like crazy everytime someone walks even on the sidewalk in front of my house. He will REALLY bark whenever the mailman comes or anyone else comes to knock on my door, so I'm sure he'd scare away anyone trying to look into my vehicles under the carport. But a dog will only do any good if you are parked at home. I remember when I was staying in the Dorms st UNO, I had my alarm go off one night and when I checked my car, I saw the door glass was pulled back some past the weatherstripping. No damage done, but who is say what would have happened had my alarm not gone off ? Would they have stolen my stereo? My wheels? Even stole the car? :dunno:

Honestly? Kind of a shitty thing to say without a smiley to show sarcasm ( if you meant to be funny).

Sucks to get your stuff stolen. Dirt bags...

Those are some donk ass wheels on a sports car. Yes, my first initial thought when I saw the before and after was "that's a step in the right direction".

Somebody could say the same about your wheels on your truck. :dunno: We might like em, but I'm sure there are plenty who would not. Everybody likes something different.

Point was... it sucks to get your shit stolen... not whether we liked the wheels or not.

Well, I personally don't care for too many full out CHROME wheels. The wheels on her car didn't look "donk" or "ghetto" at all. They were only 20" wheels. No self respecting donk, box or bubble would be caught dead rolling anything less the 24's. So the donk comment is entirely wrong. I admit, the wheels on her Stang were a little too "bling" for my liking. Like a couple of people have stated, the point of the thread was, it sucks to walk out and find your shit sitting on blocks regardless of how tacky your rims are.

UPDATE:

I saw the Mustang today and she was able to finally get it fixed! She's only had it back for a few days actually! The new Foose rims look damn good. I'll post pics as soon as I take some. The thieves actually let the car fall off the jack and damaged the oil pan. So she had to have that replaced and the mechanic that replaced the oil pan somehow damaged her CAI in the process!?!?! :dunno: Don't ask me how either, lol.

Her car now has a paging alarm, motion and tilt sensors. She's waiting on a set of quality locking lugs and for now is using the one locking lug.
