How are you coming on this Ducky?? Have you dropped the heads off with Burt yet??? You haven't scratched my engine stand have you??? NO hurry for it yet. I haven't even built the transmission for the K10 yet. Worse case scenario, I'll have to take the other SBC 350 off of my other stand and buld the new motor. I have a busy week this week too, so not likely I'll need it for at least 2 more weeks.

its going slow at the moment i did drop the head off with burt they are done he just checked them out and buffed them up he said they didn't look bad enough to put in the tank i should be getting the bearings and gaskets on the first part of april but the build on hold for the moment had jump on a great deal for a lawn mower 100 bucks for a 2009 craftsman self propelled 22" cut with a 700 series B&S 190cc and i blew mine up last summer so figured i would need one and could pass up the deal

New Lawnmower?? New Engine?? WTH you gonna blow up next??
Slow but sure is best way to go on the engine build. No sense in trying to break a speed record in doing engines. I am slow at both engines and transmisisons. On purpose though. I am usually quick at whatever I do, but I downshift a couple gears on these type builds. One missed minor matter, can cost you alot of time in the long run, not to mention the cash and tow bills, time missed at work. Just not worth it.

Yeah, in that case usually better. I haven't bought a new lawn mower in I don't know how many years. The bad thing about knowing how to fix about anything is you get bugged alot, but the good thing is, people will give you stuff that has very minor stuff wrong, like needing a carb clean from not draining the gas last summer or they broke the pull rope. Piece of cake fixes, so I don't buy lawn mowers.
