Lucas injector cleaner every 2nd oil change here.
Never had an issue.
Not too hip on adding 2 stroke oil in my gas tank though.As far as I'm concerned if GM wanted it put in the tank I'm sure they would have said something about it in the owners manual.

If you put very much in, the catalyst could be damages along with O2 sensors. I'd be careful adding much.

Very good points. The 02 sensors and catalytic converters do not like unburned hydrocarbons. Gasoline engines can not burn hot enough to completely burn the oil. Damage may result.

Gas already has all of the additives it needs.

I call :bs: on any benefit.

Another good point. Gasoline already has additives for lubricity and for cleaners.



Adding 2 stroke oil to the fuel tank is a trick for old diesel engines, and it works good in them, but on a gasoline engine, your just asking for trouble.
