well from all the reading that is out there in various forums 1 ounce to 5 gallons is the recommended amount. Key words there recommended amount. Why push it beyond the recommendations thats when people get in trouble or tear s*** up.

Every person I know running 2 stroke (all in diesel engines) runs 1 oz of 2 stroke to 1 gallon of fuel. 1:128 ratio. That seems to be the golden area for keeping the IP and injectors happy. Any more and you get smoke, less and its of no benefit.

I could see a deisel benefitting from 2 cycle oil, but NOT A GAS ENGINE. :dunno:

i`m running some howes ULSD treatment and some 2-stroke in the tractor, put it in today, doesn`t smoke. I think it will benefit a non-turbocharged diesel for sho.

I put in 5.0 oz of the treatment and 2.5 oz of the oil. in a 5 gallon tank. :dunno: I`m not good a reading directions though, but on the howes it does clearly read no amount is too much. :dunno:
