well since ive graduated, passed the FE and got my job lined up i decided it was time to start looking around for a newer truck for me.

its time to get a little more luxury options like an automatic and a full size back seat. was looking around and decided i could do 25K or less putting 5K down. with that in mind i looked at a few f150s but for a 4x4 screw it just was rough trucks or ones with 100K +.

naturally i decided to give into my itch to get a diesel. i can get the same mpg's and the same price for fuel now days so itll work out. so i started hunting for 01-07 f250/f350's that were crew cab and 4x4 with less than 150K

found and drove 2 F350's today but this search will be till around end of july/early august since i really cant be financed with out my job actually being started :( so its time to search and sell current truck.

once i drove today

05 KR f350 long bed crew cab fx4 with 85K miles thats already leveled and needs new tint, tires, and driver armrest

the 04 rode great and has a super clean interior and if i could get financed it might have come home this week.

still gonna find a 7.3L to drive and make sure im fully in to the 6.0L

I like the looks of the KR. Do you really want a F350 and Longbed.. Or is that just what you are running across?

i want a crew cab with at least a 6 3/4 ft bed which basically means a 250+ and ive run across both of these 350 long beds with parking sensors for good deals. 25K on the KR and around 18K on the Lariat. parking them isnt that bad with the tow mirrors and i always back in anyway.

Those are pretty good deals on the two trucks... At least it seems that way, never really priced them myself

Yeah I used to drive a F350 CrewCab Longbed back at my old job... They are a bitch to park sometimes. If they allow you, take it and drive it around to do your normal activities.. Grocery shopping, mall, parking garages, food places, etc...

Just so you really know what it is like to drive the big bitch. Not saying you won't be able to do it, it just can be a major Pain

yea i plan to take one for the day before its all said and done. ive gotten used to threading the needle in spots with my current truck on campus with the tight spots.

it will be a minor issue in the garage at work since i havent been inside yet since my current truck is too tall

Nice trucks....especially that KR!!!

I've never driven any of the 7.3s but my buddy's mom had a 2006 F350 Lariat Crew Cab Long bed (6.0L) and that thing was a BEAST
