Are the batteries getting that warm, too, or was it just the ballasts?

Are the ballasts weather proof? If they are, mount them behind the headlights :)

i would assume the batteries easily get the same temp, the outlet to the rad runs by the drivers side battery, plus the truck can sit and high idel for hours on jobs, i imagine the heat soaks into the batteries...:dunno:


they have weather proof connections, if i get the raptor kit i will mount them behind the headlight somewere farthest away from the radiators.

If they're weather proof, then I can order a kit and have my HID's back in my Blazer :lol:

My ballasts tanked :(
