My Brother has a 2008 Chevy Duramax, he is off of warranty now and his truck is going in on monday to get a torque converter, shift kit and new exhaust manifold, in preperation for a twin turbo setup he has ordered. He figures i will help him install it, HOWEVER, i said his membership here is required no questions asked.

He has ordered a twin turbo kit and 50 hp injector "tips" as his factory injectors have tested okay, he has also ordered a boost lift pump to supply fuel, apparently his PPE tuner is capable of handling the new "accesories"

I will get him signed up here, as some know he has lots of toys and money (obviously)

I have not heard what numbers he will be getting after but i can only imagine. I will keep everyone posted and try to get more specific info as per exactly what kit and manufaturers and such.

Stump sounds like my two brothers that like playing around and buying stuff. I'm the poor one here also have him post some videos of that bad boy once it's finished.

This I got to hear...

The stock CP3 can flow almost 8 times what the stock Duramax can consume. The problem comes from pressure. At roughly 26,000psi in the rail when you start adding duration and larger flow at the tips, hes going to have problems. The stock CP3 will not be able to maintain pressure. No doubt about it.

I'm actually sitting here right now looking at the turbo kit on the floor in front of me. To bad my FASS won't be here until Tuesday, I might just have to settle for cleaning the truck up this weekend.
As for power I might need to keep it tuned down for the most part, without getting an actually Heavy Hauler transmission I have to keep it around 500-600 RWHP.

Nice to see you on the site and can't wait for the build to begin. I would say that it will need to stay near the 500rwhp because the torque will be the thing breaking parts and that will probably be around 800rwtq at the 500hp setting. That thing is gonna rip when the wick gets turned up!
