If he used it for work... Then it's easy to put 100k a year

Shift kit? Is he having a transgo jr shift kit installed? He needs at least a stage3 transmission. The ppe programmer puts out plenty of HP to toast an Allison. I have a stage 3 for right now but I will need a stage 5 to go any further.

With the power that he can get with just the lift pump, upgraded fuel lines and injector upgrade it would be equivalent to bolting up a 4L60E up to a Duramax.

But I am sure if he has the money he will make it right.

its a work truck, some days it gets 200 miles a day, and he sometimes works like that for months at a time, he puts on alot of miles!


he has over 200k kms,


Brian, All i know is there is a place near town here called supreme deisel, and they are doing the truck setup, I hope for my brothers sake they know what they are doing with the trans.

Dang and I thought that I put on alot of miles... I probably got my truck with only a 120 miles on it around the same time he got his and I will just be hitting 50k miles.

Wait a second, is he still using the stock CP3? if so, and he goes with upgraded injectors and twin turbos, he is not going to have enough fuel to keep up with the air flow. I've seen single turbo trucks need dual CP3s before a second turbo...

Remember Clancy, the Duramax turbo can support 500+ HP from the factory. IMO he'd spend the money more wisely upgrading the injection system and tuning it.
