Stop by the swap meet yesterday on my way home, found a pair of NOS license plates from 1971. I've heard that I can register the truck with the number since its a NOS set that was never issued. If I can't it's no big deal because I still think they're cool.

Throwback Thursday, my wife ran across this pic and said it's dated 1993. One of the few pics of the truck that I have from back in the day.
Sitting pretty in the grass in front of my shop.
Sweet truck. My dad had a white 71 Chevy when I was a kid. He sold it in 82 and bought a Cutlass. Then my mom got the Cutlass a few years later when they divorced.
Gonna get some pics up later this week and make a good post, but in the mean time this will do.

Haha, got the cab dolly built and set the cab on it. Did a little test pull with the lawnmower, about pissed my pants laughing at how redneckified the whole deal looks. But I don't care, it works and when I get back from the shipyard I will tow it from the backyard into the garage so I can start metal work.
