Wow lots of Roush lovers. I appreciate the input, fellas. Please, keep it coming.


The Roush would also be the cheapest option (~$100 off eBay), but there are two things keeping me from pulling the trigger. 1. The bars don't have much spacing between them (as compared to the FX2, but the Saleen and Harley are better than either one here), so putting lights behind there may not be feasible. 2. The possibility of chipping (also with the FX2, but not Saleen or Harley). I've talked to many a Roush owner and they have experience chipping of the grille with regular driving. Nothing a little touch-up paint won't fix, but I'm OCD when it comes to my truck.

Is there anyway of stripping the paint off and powder-coating it to match your truck? that way you wouldn't have to worry about chipping. Just a thought.

The Harley one sure would look good, with all of the very limited chrome it would stand out a bit though.

But the painted Roush is a good idea, I would pop your emblem on it though, you already invested in your emblem overlay, but I may be biased.

Just ignore the chips It will need re-painted in spring.

Probably with Bulldog adhesion promoter. I did not use any promoter and I rattle canned with Krylon but used proper procedures.

I hate the Roush grills but I would pick the Harley first and the Saleen second. It would be cool too if you didn't have an emblem too!
