I put this up somewhere else but wanted a few more opinions. I've really been wanting to get a new grille for my truck. Currently my list of things to do are glossy flares and glossy B-pillars. Ford's cheap gray plastic looks like crap.

For the grille, though, I am stuck between 4: Roush, Saleen, FX2, and just now thought about the Harley. The only thing I don't like about the Saleen is that you can see the radiator in sunlight. Ugly. Both the Roush and FX2 I would paint solid black to match my truck, so either one of those has a chance of chipping. A few minutes ago, though, I started thinking about the Harley grille. I wouldn't paint it so it would be some chrome on the black truck :uhoh:! Buuuuuuut I've been thinking about slowly putting a little chrome back on the black girl. Will also be adding 2 lights behind the grille, so that will work for any of these.

Few pics....(I know you guys like pics)...

Current grille (lower part is photoshopped):

The Roush PTM or the Harley Grille in that order. I'm not so keen on the saleen or FX2. But no matter which one you choose it will look better than than the stock grille.

Wow lots of Roush lovers. I appreciate the input, fellas. Please, keep it coming.

The Roush would also be the cheapest option (~$100 off eBay), but there are two things keeping me from pulling the trigger. 1. The bars don't have much spacing between them (as compared to the FX2, but the Saleen and Harley are better than either one here), so putting lights behind there may not be feasible. 2. The possibility of chipping (also with the FX2, but not Saleen or Harley). I've talked to many a Roush owner and they have experience chipping of the grille with regular driving. Nothing a little touch-up paint won't fix, but I'm OCD when it comes to my truck. :(

Run some clear 3M vinyl across the slats and then trim it flush to each slat!

Do what you have to do to go with the Roush, it's BFA!

I think the Roush is the sweetest.
