They were too wide for his taste, and he didn't want to deal with taking them off for winter. So he's going to find a set of LTZ 20's and run year round.

And yes, my dad officially bought the OEM 20's from me. I'll keep the 17's for when the truck sits in the garage for most the winter

Why do you need winter wheels? I sold my "summer" wheels because I needed to use the rubber up on my "winter" wheels......well, and to help pay for the 17's I still have sitting in my closet! (no, they are not on display in the living room/dining room like some people do )

Truck sat like I said it would. Had a nice ride home from work on the motorcycle. Took the long route home to enjoy the nice cool night.


Kyle, did you go the BBP meet in Maple Grove? Did it even happen? There weren't any updates in the thread for it at all so I didn't know if it even happened.

Because I want the preds completely removed from any chance of getting salt on them, I wash other vehicles in our garage And I have 285/55's.

I did not go to the meet, or heard anything else on it. I don't think they rounded up enough people. I had to work that day anyway.

I keep forgetting you can wash vehicles in the garage. I wish I could.

Why? How's it going? It took me 4hrs my first time taking the dash out of my S10. 3hrs the second time, but both times alone which was a PITA when it came time to take the entire thing out of the truck....bad idea to do that part alone.


Still waiting on a tracking number for my Whipple. The invoice said "shipped same day as payment received" and I sent payment around 10am Central so I would have thought they could have gotten to UPS by 5pm Eastern (it's coming from Alabama).

Truck sat all day...for the third day in a row. Probably sit again tomorrow. I gotta ride the motorcycle to save money after buying the Whipple!

funny thing happened. the tank got filled, it was driven for the first time in 2 weeks, hauled some rock and 2 trees. this is funny cause i am 640 miles from it..


my buddy needed a truck and knew my door code and that the key is always in it. this is one of the times my truck has made me money..

Washed all the mud out of the wheels. One front wheel packed about 1/2 full of mud when I pulled my wife out the other day, so I seemed to have a SLIGHT vibration in the steering wheel.
