Filled it up with gas and drove it to work. I didn't work, so I went and bought a couple of things for work.

Waxed them both with Meguiers. Much needed detail.

Met the county sheriff and gave him a hand with a traffic control problem.

Guy in a GMC pickup ran out of gas at a busy intersection just 1/4 mile from the gas station. The sheriff was the only LEO in the area at the time, and was trying to control traffic with just his little black unmarked Mustang. I rolled up behind him, lit up the truck, put on the traffic director and introduced myself. We'd met before at EmComm Team meetings, but it took him a minute to realize who I was. :)

After putting a gallon in the truck from a can the driver still couldn't get it to start, so I got out a tow strap and we moved him to the shoulder so traffic could get through.

Got a nice handshake and "Thanks!" from the sheriff afterwards, and he was quite impressed with my truck. He kept telling the deputies that started showing up, "It's okay, Bernie's got it covered with that truck of his."

I don't think I have to worry much about getting tickets inside the county limits for the next month or so. :D2

Same thing I've done for the last 7 fWONking years.....Drove It.

7 years behind the wheel?

I hope you have a hole in the floorboards under the seat... and maybe a hose too. Otherwise it's gonna be pretty nasty in there.

Then again , you probably haven't got a shower in there, do you? :ohnoes:

I put on a new pin door cab light switch on my passenger door it had messed up and it wasn't working. GM doesn't make them to last that long I already replaced about four of them at $9.61 a pop. Oh I also put in $25.25 dollars in gas.
