Drove to Sterling, VA to work on a friend's house. Had to do about 25 miles of the trip on the right shoulder with the lights on because I-95 North was a damn parking lot.

tried to start it, the battery was dead. i will NEVER EVER,EVER,EVER,EVER,EVAR buy a napa battery again, thats the third one in two years(it was a premium gold series too), screw warranty i will get another delco.

i was going to start it and move it in preperation of cleaning it tommorow.:)

If you're not using the truck that often then investing in a float charger (trickle charger) might be a good idea, no matter what battery you use in it. Even one of those solar trickle chargers would help, if it's kept outdoors.

oh i could probly do that, but if a battery is unhooked why does it go dead? :dunno:

because it sucks! I start my truck maybe once every 2-3 weeks, and have no problem letting it sit. Starts right up every time!

mine had been sitting for 2.5 months. i never had problems with my original delcos, untill i drained them one weekend when i left something plugged in, they never survived that, but they were ten years old.

the only reason i went with napa is cause they store that sold the delcos wasn`t open on the weekends, and it has been one terrible decision for the last two years.
