I dont know if Gm handled things the same way but Ford knows how to sell.

Isn't it obvious the Government Motors handled things differently? :jester:

I didnt want to say it out right, I like to be friendly but still sneaky!

it still should perform better. I dont care if its off road purpose built or not. Its part of the SVT and ford should have repped it better with a better powerplant. 16.5 out of a specialty vehicle is terrible. And its not like its a budget off road truck either.. they are expensive. With the money they get for them.. id want a whole lot more. But thats just me.

But a lot of guys actually use their giant off-road rigs off-road too. everyone is different. :jester:

Bite me mac boy. hahaha. Mines used... just not beat on.. i gotta get to work you know....

F150s are slow all stock anyways, no real biggie. My model truck ran 17 down the track I believe. I bet i'm down to the 16s now, high 15s with stock wheels & tires. Wish there was a track near by.

Cant wait for the 6.2L to come out for Fords

I still want one!

that, is, GOD! Awesome! Now i'm starting to want one.

When's that motor being released?

This month is the expectation date, May at the latest I would assume.

I personally think the Raptor is a BADASS truck. But I have been a little disappointed that the 5.4 was even an option in it. This is a SVT truck the 6.2 should be standard. It's kinda like offer the Mustang Cobra with the standard 4.8l and having the SC as an option.

:werd: The 5.4 is a good, reliable truck engine. Just overwhelmed by a lot of modern standards. Sure, GM's 5.3 is pretty comparable to it, but GM offers engines above it if wanted. I'm actually surprised Ford's new 6.2 is a SOHC 2 valver. Looks like they're going for simple, reliable power for the new engine. Exactly what a workhorse truck engine should be.

I'd pimp a Raptor...after the 6.2 comes out.

Stock for stock they are similar but GM did amazing things by keeping almost all of their V8's based on the same architecture so the aftermarket for all of their engines are phenomenal. I would def drive a raptor like I stole it when the 6.2 comes out.
