Will You Join My WolfPack?
yeah.. I'm gonna call around before I make the purchase... Maybe even try and find an auto stereo shop or something
That $499 price point includes installation from BestBuy. Their installation has a lifetime guarantee. That's not a guarantee on the unit, but if for any reason the wires work loose, etc., they'll fix it free for life. I had them install my 5301 kit and it's working great. There were a couple of small hiccups but they got it right and it's been fine ever since.
You will have to pay extra for the bypass unit though since it's not considered part of the "basic" installation.
If you can find someone reputable locally to install it and then guarantee their work for life, I'd say go for it. Otherwise, I'd suggest paying the $499 plus the cost of the module and being certain that if you ever have issues, there will be someone there to fix it.
I have a few questions about the "Viper 5901 Responder LC3 SuperCode SST 2-Way Security and Remote Start System." Does this system come with any kind of warranty? I didn't see anything about it in the listing. Also do you happen to sell the PATS BYPASS system for 2005 Ford F150?
Also, is this a complete kit, as in I wouldn't need anything else to install this system, besides the PATS BYPASS?
Thanks,
Mark
This is a new sealed item with 3 year warranty from us,
I dont have the pats part that you need sorry i sell only the alarm
Make sure to check the Viper warranty too, I know on some brands the warranty is only valid if its installed by a licensed dealer or something like that.

That being said... Do you know any places in Indy that would do it cheaper, or if I brought in the product?

I do not, unfortunately.
