The tech or service writer had to call "someone" with my VIN and tell them to add the sales codes to my truck's build so that they could update it in the system before they flashed it. I am not sure who they called, but the dealership knew the process. Wish I could be more help to you.

Thanks will pass that info along to my mechanic.
Does the individual tire pressure screen work for you?
Thanks!

My EVIC is from an 09, so it didn't offer that screen. The only thing I can't get to work is the ERS. I think there is a difference in the wiring or control between the 09 and 10 for that so I am looking for a 10 cluster to swap in.

Well this mod has been a gigantic waste of time so far.

I just did the wiring that was required (checked it 3x) and put everything back together. Still no buttons working. I am thinking about putting it back to stock and getting rid of the cluster and wheel.

Noticed that when I have the cluster unplugged I am getting 7-8VDC (which is correct) on the Lin Bus (on both the cluster plug AND the steering wheel plug which I tapped into). However as soon as I connect the plug into the back of the cluster, I no longer get any voltage at the steering wheel plug Lin Bus. This thing is f'd!

Did you just tap the wires, or did you cut the wires at the clockspring under the steering column? I had some issues with the wiring job I did the first time, so I re-wired it and soldered the connections and it has worked perfectly since. You have to tap the wires behind the cluster and cut the wires at the clockspring in case you didn't notice that part.

Cut the original ones at the small white plug under the steering wheel - since we are changing them from "Without EVIC" to "EVIC" - correct?
Thanks

So I finally got it to work! For some reason as soon as the cluster was plugged in it was shorting out lin bus to the wheel. Ended up getting lin bus power elsewhere and all is well.

No steering wheel audio controls yet (since we couldn't find the RDZ code to add) and the tire pressure sensor still giving error, but the EVIC controls itself are working now.

Thanks for the help! :)

Will post pics of the Long Horn cluster all setup and working in the ST. Looks good! I like how they are white during the day but black at night.

Glad you got it working for the most part! Let me know if the ERS (+/- shifting) works with the new cluster. That is the one function I can't get functioning on mine. I swapped my original cluster back in, and it works fine so I am not sure where the issue is.
