I like it. I think somebody like Chip Foose should customize a Ford Flex to look like a Woody I think one would look good done up right. I like how the Flex looks I would drop it and put on some nice add-on's.

Thoughts?

It looks like a Taurus X with the current Taurus cheese grater grill pasted on the front.

And there is no justification for a new seven seat crossover on the D3 platform named Explorer when they already sell a seven seat crossover built on the D3 platform.

I think it's ass backwards to charge more for the I-4 than the V6, towing is disappointing, etc.

It's the perfect competitor for the other limp-wristed "SUVs" on the market like the GM Lambdas and Pilot, etc.

If I had to buy one, I would get the 2011 Jeep GC. Superior in every way...and it's still an actual SUV.

Another SUV bites the dust and reincarnates as a pussed up car.

There is nothing worth seeing here.

EXACTLY what i said!!!

Pretty soon... Jeep will be the only company with a real SUV left. Everyone else is going to these car chassis crossovers :fume:

Which is surprising... i figured the Explorer was going to hang around longer since Ford as the Edge. Maybe they're going to drop the Edge from the lineup in a year or two?? Seems like self-competition... :dunno:

Edit: PS, i ordered a lift for my Jeep Commander :rocker:

Meh, I like it better then the previous couple of year models of the Explorer. I've driven Explorers and if Ford needed to do anything it was make them more stable. They seem like the most unstable vehicles on the interstate. I've rode in trucks with monster lifts that felt less top heavy then a stock Explorer. :dunno:
