Not to bad for 111K miles, I really hated dumping the oil since I had just switched to Amsoil Severe Gear back in the first of the year. But overall the whole thing looks great with even wear on the gears and the bearings look pretty good too. All seals are still pliable and have never leaked either. So when it's all put back together it should last a long time again. As long as I take my time on the setup.:D

I will have until next Thursday night to be finished so I don't see there being any rush job on this. The install thread will be a separate thread with a link back to the teardown thread.

nice work jarrod

you getting and aftermarket diff cover? the stock one looks lame imo haha

Maybe down the road, they are fairly expensive so I am gonna wait and spend the money on the cam install.

I'm kind of a cleanish worker. Seriously though I tend to wipe my hands off a lot, I did miss getting a few pics because I didn't feel like wiping my hands off again though.:uhoh:
Stopping to take the pics is a pain but if it helps somebody else then it's all worth it.:tmc:

Awesome work J! I really wish I had the tools and know it all to add stuff like this. I just pay people to do it for me. :(

You'll get them in soon enough. I'm committed now, no turning back at this point.
It's not my first gear set though, it's been several years since the last one I've done so I'm a little rusty. Once I get everything cleaned up the install/ setup will begin.

Thanks Carl, I was raised around a shop. I twist wrenches for a living, some of the car stuff has progressed quiet a bit since I was really deep into it but nuts and bolts are still nuts and bolts. There is no shame in paying someone else to do something for you. Everybody has to eat, we are all good at something.
