Good for Ford. I know a couple of Ford owners that hate the 5.4. One of 'em call's it a gutless pig.

I drive a truck with a (stock) 5.4 every day. I am not overly impressed.

Slap a SuperCharger on that thing and it will help some

Good review, it is an exciting time for truck owners since there is so much emphasis on competition. Everybody is trying to out do the other guy, new engine platforms, new body styles. Just makes decision time that much tougher.

I wonder how the 6.2 in the HD's stacks up against the 6.8 v10? I have the v10 in my work truck and it is pretty gutless, I would hope the 6.2 would be at least as good, even with lower torque ratings.

I would love to see all the best tuners come out and program a vehicle and then put them up against each other... Brands that is

Yes! Factory stock trucks, add the best tuners and let them race. No other mods just laptop tuning, it would be very interesting to see what they could uncover.
