My '14 LML kept starting and then cutting out. Checked the primer and it seemed to be pretty tight(hard to push down). I have 80% fuel filter life remaining. Feel like I just replaced it. Truck has almost 42k miles on her and I'm about to make the last payment on her. After a bit of turning the engine over she'll start and be good for the day.

This started happening daily so I ripped the fender liner off or unfastened it and opened up the fuel/water separator. Let it drain, primed the filter again and she's been running good since.

I did read that some were having random issues with this and actually replaced filters, primer o rings or even the fuel filter housing.

This is my 3rd Duramax and never had this happen before. It was a easy solution if it's a permanent fix.

And...when you deleting and tuning?

I want to so bad but my stupid ass prematurely replaced the duramax payment with a new tractor payment and I'm on a quest to pay off the crew cab with every extra $$$ to eliminate payments with interest. The trucks are the only payments that have interest...

I'm also saving up for a Denali purchase at the end of '17 beginning of '18 depending on how employee discount, rebates and the first year of production on that newer engine.

I wonder if there's any tuning available for the new Kubota skid steer, it missed out on exhaust gas by one model year but still regens once a tank, it seems. The tractor doesn't have enough hp to require either.

Question...I'm a unix/mac geek. I have NO windows computers...is this going to require me to pick up a disposable laptop too?

Man, I have no idea. Have you gone to the EFI LIVE site? You can definitely start the conversation with the PPEI guys. They are super helpful

Emulate windows on the laptop, and go that way... But if you're buying an autocal from a tuner, it'll come with the tunes installed.

PPEI will likely push the EZlynk, especially since you don't have a Windows. Everything can be done with Android or iOS I believe.

Excellent. I will keep that in mind for next year. Yes, next year. They dropped the DEF tank this time and found the hose had a 90 kink in it. That was causing the issue when the level got low enough (but not low enough to set off the level warnings). They replaced the hose. Given that, I'm putting the delete on hold again. If this happens again in June, feel free to point at me and laugh heartily (more than usual :)).

All I can say is, wow. Don't wait, Karl!
Went over White Pass on our first leg. Averaged 68 mph and got 12 mpg. On grades like that, it is good with that load!

Has anyone had any experience with Power Service diesel fuel additives.

They have a Bio Cleanse product(like a shock treatment for fuel stabilization) and also a fuel tank cleaner.

My mini bobcat loader has to have some type build up on the bottom of the tank and the tank itself is nearly impossible to get to without pulling the motor or hydraulic motors. I can loosen the fuel/water separator and bleed out some fuel and then it starts back up for a hour or two but it just seems like the fuel filter keeps getting clogged and I have to start the process again and prime the piss out of it. Even replaced the already replaced fuel filter and after 1-2 hours of use it cuts off on me. Its been giving me a hard time for a while, I'm just trying to do something before I attempt pulling the tanks...

Yes! PowerService is a good product, and is very popular here. We sell the stuff at work, including to skid-steer customers. The buildup is likely bugs! Yes bugs :D2

That stuff will clean it, but you have a big job ahead of you, and a lot of filters to change. Anything with a Biocide in it will work, but that is a good product for tank fungus
