I really don't mind a cowl hood on a notch if it has a purpose. I think that is as tall as I would go. A nice 2 or 4" inch is
I not a fan of cowls for looks. I would have a stock hood on my nova if everything would fit.

The AJE shat showed up yesterday. Cross member is for a TH350. This K member is light. My last exam was today so it's spring break and I'm going to be at the shop tomorrow and then all next week. Tomorrow I'll be sanding body parts all day, which will be as fun as it sounds.
I'm getting the TH350 from a friend and he's going to build it. It also comes with a Yank converter that I'm going to ship off to get inspected and possibly retooled. I'd like something in the 3600-4000 range if it isn't already, I forget what the stall speed is.
You better take a whole crap load of pics.

Start to finish was only a few hours. The engine bay should look a lot better with the new K member and the steering crap cleaned up. There's still a lot of body stuff to get done
