That's part of racing, anyone can be beat. Daddy Dave even got beat out of town not long ago. I've seen 13 second cars beat 10 second cars. Of course in those cases the 10 second car blew his intake off the motor. Sometimes the bottle is overlooked and not turned on. Sometimes a guy gets caught sleeping at the flashlight drop. I live around some of those SO guys, a few of them have their shop in the same complex as my shop. Many of them own auto shops too. I've dropped cars at 4 of them's shops with the tow truck. You wouldn't believe it, but most of these guys are actually quite humble and not near as arrogant in real life. Then some, what you see on TV is exactly what you get. Sean and Jeff aka Farmtruck and Azn, No, they're really like that in real life. The dudes are nuts. Stupid at times, but nuts.
