She's a beauty 
1986 Mustang LX. This will be a street machine with some track time. It will remain gutted, have 2 seats, a 5.3 engine, and a full manual TH350 or TH400 trans. Right now it's looking like a TH400 since I can get one for free. The general goal is to be a budget rocket. I don't want to spend a ton of cash on this turd, just want something fast. Other than the powertrain it needs some here and there's like tail lamps, driver door latch, new pedal assembly, brakes, some trim, a few black rattle cans for paint and some other randoms. The hood isn't bolted in if your wondering why it's jacked. The fenders also need aligned and bolted down, right now they only have 1 bolt each. The windows look like poop because I had to remove the tint that saw better days. They will be cleaned up.
Contrary to what it looks like, I spent a few hours today with a shop vac cleaning this thing out. The only bad metal is obviously the driver floor board. The rest of the metal is in good shape.
The passenger door needs new guts. It's setup for power windows. Tomorrow I'm going to clean up the windows better and take a notepad to write down exactly what parts I need to start searching for.
