Finally finished up storing the truck for the winter. I actually took it to my grandma's Tuesday night (forecasted freezing rain for Wed that never came). I went back down to their house today to take the battery out, my center console out, vacuum a little bit, and cover it.

Tues night.

And behind this unsuspecting door it shall sit until good weather returns once again. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

End of pics, of the Silverado that is, for this year.

You guys didn't get the freezing rain? It started for us as snow around 4 weds afternoon then warmed up around 7 and turned into rain then got cold and froze. It was ugly for a while but pretty much dried up by Thursday morning.

Why did you remove the CC?
Its a custom console I made out of some plywood as a prototype for fitment and what not. I removed it to make the final one out of MDF and then PTM it green. I'm hoping to get it all done this winter so its ready to go back in this summer.

Well, the roads I drove on were just fine. There was some just across the river, but I walked across a parking lot and drove home at 10pm Wed night with no problems at all. :dunno:

EDIT:
I added pic of it covered in the OP.

just curious but any reason for parking the 4wd? trying to keep it decent?
Yep. Since you're from Mass, you know the joys of knowing about a nasty, white, rock-like substance called SALT that eats away at paint and then the steel / aluminum underneath it.
