That isn't completely accurate. The oil companies aren't exactly racing to pump either. Our neighbor has had an oil rig on his property for two years now and they have yet to pump serious amounts of oil from it. Right now they are pulling just enough to keep the leases and other stuff going. If they drill like crazy that will drop the price of oil...and that is not good business.

If I stay home on my 6 days off, then my truck doesn't bother me with its mileage...

But once I can get more than 110 miles to a tank, it won't be as bad

That being said, I DO plan on buying something that gets good mileage...
The problem is that I have limited selection... Not much RWD stuff

only thing i will be willing to trade on my 14mpg on is a new gt or 05+ style shelby. otherwise i'll stay broke and my years pay to gas
