I blame the gas companies, they are the reason I had to spend 17K on a new bike this year, to save on gas.

But hell now I own both so I might as well keep both.

I won't enjoy paying for $5/gas but it won't change anything around here. If anything, I'll grab a new 6.2 if the dealers start giving them away again like they did in '08.

I got into motorcycles because I fell in love with the first one we had. Then I bought my Silverado and sold my first S10. In the process, instantly (in one day) went from 25mpg to 15mpg in the summer. That was gonna hurt so I decided to buy my motorcycle. It serves me two purposes: fun and savings. It gets 40-45mpg VS 15mpg.....hmmm, tough not to justify along with all the fun I have.

If I didn't haul stuff in the winter, I probably would have a Cavalier 5spd or some other car.

Will gas prices affect my driving? Slightly. I enjoy driving my truck WAY too much to keep the price of gas from me driving it. If gas prices did, I wouldn't be able to justify it....well, that and I've got WAY too much money stuck into it!

Instead of hitting up dealers, I'm waiting for used truck prices to hit bottom!

No kidding...I'd look at a loaded 5.7 Ram in a heartbeat...
