I did clay it back in August with my first "detail" just washed clayed and waxed. Did a much more thorough job this time around.

Ok well I finished up my detail yesterday and I must say it looks damn GOOOD! I love the way the sun hits it and you don't see a bunch of swirl marks! I was so exhausted last night that I didn't upload the pictures till just now. So here are the pics I used all the products listed in Mblouir's thread at the top of this section.

Here's the results:

Damn sorry I missed this, buddy. I am spoiled by the other forums and used to getting emails that tell me when new posts are made in threads that I have posted in.

Looks great--nice job. I'm glad you didn't have any trouble with M105. I like the before/after shots---nice improvement. It just looks like a deeper paint now..."wetter" is a term I've seen used before. Glad to know my how-to helped.

I vote you add something to your list of to-dos for the truck: windshield tint. It's illegal so if you don't want to risk it no biggie. I have 35% and the ability to see out of the truck barely changed (I didn't notice any change at all). Seeing in is slightly noticeable for my 35%. Just 50%, though, is barely noticeable in terms of seeing through from the outside. It's enough, though, to get rid of the green hue on the windshield. I can post some before/after pics of the tint if you want.

No problem, I just wanted you to know your how-to was great! Yes the paint does look much :quote:wetter:quote: than before, I only used NXT Tech wax last time. But that Megs Carnubba wax is awesome!

Yeah that is on my to do list in my head , My buddy has 50% on his WS and I can't even tell, so I think I am gonna go with 35% I need a new windsheild too it has some scratches on the driverside from looks like crappy wiper blades. So I don't wanna tint my WS with crappy glass. I have full coverage on the truck so It should be free that is how it used to be in SC:dunno: Yeah I want to do a 5% eyebrow too

Fantastic results man, you learned real quick. You'll never forget it, or neglect a vehicle ever again after all of that.
